The California Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies (CCRUES) is a nonpartisan, independent think tank dedicated to producing the highest quality research and analysis focused on the area of the former Soviet Union. The Center brings together a diverse body of scholars to exchange knowledge and ideas necessary for developing a better understanding of Russian and Eurasian politics. We provide consulting services and risk assessment by applying interdisciplinary studies in international relations, foreign policy, economics, and culture.
CCRUES pursues its mission by linking research, policy recommendations, and training to support and strengthen the capacity of policymakers and other professionals in their understanding of foreign policy issues related to Russia and Eurasia. By providing global leaders in government and business with policy briefings and recommendations, CCRUES aims to bring a better understanding of the region.
